10th Annual Baltimore Comedy Festival Will Open in September
Maryland Center for History and Culture and SNF Parkway Theater will host headliners including Darren Fleet and Amber Singletary.
The 10th Annual Baltimore Comedy Festival (BCF) celebrates a decade of diverse comedy in the city. This year BCF brings nearly 100 professional comedians from across the United States for six days of showcases at multiple venues around the city. Motor House in Station North will serve as the festival headquarters and will host the FREE Opening Ceremony on Wednesday September 2nd starting at 9pm.
This year the Baltimore Comedy Festival is proud to partner with the Maryland Center for History and Culture and the SNF Parkway Theater to host touring headliners.
PREMIERE SHOWS
The Maryland Center for History and Culture will be hosting two premiere showcases during the festival. Friday, September 4th 7pm features headliners Darren Fleet and Woo Woo of Netflix is a Joke and BET's New Rooftop Series. Saturday, September 5th 7pm features headliners Amber Singletary of hit internet series JUDGY, Kiki Andersen Emmy award winning news reporter and feature on Netflix is a Joke, and Ben Smith featured on Barstool Sports. Each showcase is free to attend, 18+, 21+ to enjoy the open bar.
The SNF Parkway will host a premiere showcase on Thursday, September 3rd at 8:30pm. This showcase features Baltimore's favorite local comedians, visiting comedians from New York City and Raleigh, NC. Tickets are $5 or $12 w/ 2 drinks. 18+ to attend, 21+ to drink.
SPECIAL NOTES
10+ Venues throughout the city with three prominent comedy clubs participating; The Port (Closing Ceremony September 7th 8:00pm), The Baltimore Comedy Factory (Thursday 8:00pm Tickets on Website) and Hammerjokes (Saturday 8:00pm/9:30pm). Donations are accepted at each show and all proceeds benefit the Baltimore Comedy Festival.
