Tormé Sings Tormé, a landmark tribute celebrating what would have been the 100th birthday of the iconic Mel Tormé. This once-in-a-lifetime concert is led by his son, international performer Steve March-Tormé.
Known as “The Velvet Fog,” Mel Tormé’s influence on American music is profound. A gifted vocalist, composer, arranger, and actor, he helped shape the Great American Songbook and co-wrote one of its most beloved standards, “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire).”
With a 10-piece all-star band and the original arrangements of Marty Paich—Mel’s longtime collaborator—this show is more than a concert. It’s a personal, heartfelt tribute filled with rare family stories, archival video, and photos that bring the legacy of Mel Tormé vividly to life.
