People Have the Power 2.0, is a short play program inspired by the Patti Smith/Fred Smith song . This is a follow-up to a similar production in 2025 that resulted in a sold-out run. This 90-minute program of 7 short plays is about social activists making a difference in their communities and therefore the world at large, told with irreverence, humor, drama, and pathos. Topics include labor, immigration, disability justice, LGBTQIA rights, and mental health.
Program is as follows: Two People From Verona by Domenick Scudera (PA,) The Woman at the Gate by Matt Herman (AZ), Open House by Ajitha Reddy, Heartworm by Robert LeBlanc (MA), Dig by Raul Garza (NM), The Good Father by Dave Carley (Canada), and Are There Still Sandwiches? by Jacqueline Reingold (NY).
