The Glenn Miller Orchestra returns to Popejoy Hall on February 15, 2026, to celebrate the legacy of swing music. Under the direction of Erik Stabnau, the ensemble will perform classic big band standards, including “In the Mood,” “Moonlight Serenade,” and “Chattanooga Choo-Choo.” This ensemble, which has been touring since 1956, honors the musical contributions of Glenn Miller, who became a defining figure of the swing era in the 1930s and 1940s. Audiences will enjoy an afternoon filled with the timeless sounds that shaped a generation.
