The Lawrence Arts Center in conjunction with Card Table Theatre is proud to present Edward Gant's Amazing Feats of Loneliness, written by Anthony Neilson and directed by Jacqueline Grunau. The show runs October 23, 24, 25, 30, 31 and November 1, 6, 7, 8. All shows 8pm. Tickets: $15 Adults; $12.50 Seniors; $10 Students.

A haunting Victorian Freak Show of Emotional
deformities, the showman Edward Gant has scoured
all the continents of the globe to bring you a freak show of grotesqueries of the heart and mind. Gasp at Sanzonetta the Pimple Faced Girl, a girl too ugly to love, but too valuable to lose. Marvel at the fate of Edgar Thomas Dawn, a man driven to near madness by his departed love, and will do anything, including drilling a hole in his head, to forget her, and Chill at the story of a much maligned teddy bear! This event will only happen ONCE (per evening, for nine evenings)!

A co-production between Card Table Theatre and the Lawrence Arts Center, this is the inaugural event of in the Lawrence Arts Center Downtown Underground series, the objective of which is to bring fresh and interesting works of theatre to adult audiences.

Featuring: Will Averill, Erica Fox Zabusky, Chris Roady, and Christoph David Cording, with live music by the Free State Liberation Orchestra Gypsy Band.
