The best of the best in Las Vegas this summer!

1: The Utah Shakespeare Festival (http://www.bard.org) in Cedar City and Tuachan (http://www.tuachan.org) in St. George, Utah both offer terrific summer schedules. The Utah Shakespeare Festival is doing several Shakespeare plays and some more modern ones — Les Miserables, Stones In His Pockets, To Kill A Mockingbird, Hamlet, Merry Wives of Windsor, among them.

Tuachan is offering Aladdin, Hairspray and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

2. In Las Vegas, Phantom: The Las Vegas Experience (www.phantomlasvegas.com) is a must-see It is closing September 2 and, if you haven't seen the show in Las Vegas, then you haven't seen it. And the performance of Tony-winner Anthony Crivello is breathtaking.

3. Human Nature (http://www.humannaturelive.com) is a must-see show that leaves the audience — literally — cheering for these four guys from Australia who sing Motown like the original singers did. They are terrific!

4. Vegas! The Show (http://www.vegastheshow.com) won BroadwayWorld's 2011 award for the Best Resident Show on The Strip and it is — a wonderful retelling of the history of this Entertainment Capital of the World that is, in itself, very entertaining. Eric Jordan Young heads cast of very accomplished pros who make the evening a joy.

5. The biggest stars in music play Las Vegas. This summer, you can see Kiss and Motley Crüe, Enrique Iglesias and JLo, One Direction, Neil Diamond, Nickelback, six Cirque du Soleil shows, Jersey Boys, Absinthe and scores of others. Check http://www.vegas.com/shows.
