Award-winning playwright Naomi Wallace is making a day-trip to Cincinnati between Humana's big theater industry marathon weekends.

Her plays include: In The Heart of America, One Flea Spare, Slaughter City, The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek, The Girl Who Fell Through a Hole in Her Jumper, The War Boys, Things of Dry Hours, Birdy, The Fever Chart: Three Visions of the Middle East, Twenty One Positions: A Cartographic Dream of the Middle East, and "The Hard Weather Boating Party".

Wallace will be the guest at a free two-hour discussion session starting at 4 p.m. March 24 in Xavier University's Gallagher Student Center Theater.

Local actor/director/playwright Kevin Crowley directs (staged reading) excerpts from "Slaughter City" and "One Flea Spare" as part of the program.
