NY Theatre Barn to Present Bolin, 'Wood,' 'Wyatt' Songs
"New York Theatre Barn in the D-Lounge" will be presented at the Daryl Roth D-Lounge (101 East 15 Street) on Monday, July 23, 2007. The lounge opens at 7pm, and the first performance is at 8pm.
At 8pm, "Sex, Drugs and Kittybrains: The music of Eli Bolin" will be performed. It will feature Bolin (I Sing! composer), Allison Jill Posner, Bridget Everett and the Striking Viking Story Pirates.
At 9:30pm, music from the new musical Wood will be performed. Wood has book and lyrics by Dan Collins and music by Julianne Wick Davis. The performance will feature Sally Wilfert (The Adventures of Tom Sawyer), Maryann Schaub, Danny Larsen (composer of The Yellow Wood), Jason Michael Snow, Blake Whyte, Matt Leahy and Colin Howard."Welcome home to Normal, Anywhere, the perfectly liberal community where all is as it should be

Between sets, there will be a sneak preview of the New York Theatre Barn's staged reading of I Married Wyatt Earp, featuring Veronica J. Kuehn (Mamma Mia!), Sheilah Rae (lyricist, I Married Wyatt Earp), Erin Henry, Ashley McHugh, Stephanie Palumbo, Emily Battles, with Music Direction by Steve Smith.
