From the team behind the hugely successful Dreamboats and Petticoats, Bill Kenwright's brand new musical Save the Last Dance for Me transports the Lyceum Theatre to the 'music and magic' of the early 60's from Monday 23 – Saturday 28 January.

Written by Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran (Goodnight Sweetheart, Birds of a Feather, Shine on Harvey Moon) and featuring the unmistakable music of Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman, (A Teenager in Love, Sweets for my Sweet, Turn Me Loose, Here I Go Again, Viva Las Vegas, Suspicion and Save the Last Dance For Me), this nostalgic, feel-good musical about young love and holiday romance follows two care-free teenage sisters holidaying for the first time without their parents in the summer of 1963. A time when each passing week brought another classic Rock 'n' Roll track, this production is a chance to re-live a golden era of music.

Save The Last Dance For Me is at the Lyceum Theatre from Monday 23 - Saturday 28 January. Tickets can be purchased from Sheffield Theatres' Box Office in-person, by phone on 0114 249 6000 or online at sheffieldtheatres.co.uk and are priced from £19.00 - £31.00, with discounts available.
