Ian D'Sa of Billy Talent to #RockThePlate at Brewers Plate

The 10th annual rock and roll themed Brewers Plate (#RockThePlate) in support of War Child Canada now boasts a Canadian rock legend as the celebrity guest DJ. Ian D'Sa of the band Billy Talent will trade in his guitar for a sound mixer as he joins the incredible roster of Ontario brewers and locally renowned restaurants and Chefs as they create the ultimate rock and roll pairing experience. It all happens on May 4, 2017 at the Corus Quay Building (25 Dockside Drive) from 6pm to 11pm. The 2017 edition of Brewers Plate is in partnership with Q107 and 102.1 The Edge.


"I'm very proud to be involved with War Child Canada, the work they are doing to help children in war-affected communities offers hope beyond borders," said Ian D'Sa, guitarist for the band Billy Talent. This year's Brewers Plate will host an incredible selection of prizes to be won through the event's on-site initiatives, including a number of rock and roll themed art pieces provided by local music photographers Dustin Rabin, Jess Baumung and Toronto-inspired artist Casey O'Neill, as well guitars, autographed sports memorabilia, vinyl packages, concert tickets and so much more! In 2016, Brewers Plate raised $9,200 in support of War Child Canada to help children in war-affected communities reclaim their childhood through access to education, opportunity and justice. With the support of Ian D'Sa, along with the incredible chefs, restaurants and brewers who are all donating their time and materials for this event, Brewers Plate 2017 is sure to deliver an unforgettable experience while raising thousands of dollars for a great cause.


Tickets to the Brewers Plate 2017 are now on sale through www.BrewersPlateToronto.org and start at $90 each + taxes and fees. New for this year: Brewers Plate is offering an Entourage 5 Pack, valued at $400 + taxes and fees, so if attendees are planning on bringing friends this may be the ticket pack for them. They'll be able to see savings of $10 per ticket with the Entourage 5 Pack. They can also try their luck at winning tickets in the coming weeks by tuning in to Brewers Plate's fantastic partners at Q107 and 102.1 the Edge.
