Bravo Academy to Stage World Premiere Youth Production of BREMEN ROCK CITY

Bravo Academy for the Performing Arts is thrilled to present the World Premiere Youth Production of Bremen Rock City with Music by Colleen Dauncey, Lyrics by Akiva Romer Segal and Book by Sara Farb.

Bremen Rock City is directed by Keith Pike, Music Directed by Colleen Dauncey, and Choreographed by Lexy Cox. 14 students ages 9-13 will present a fully staged production of the brand-new Canadian musical after an intense 2-week training period. Bremen Rock City premiered at the Toronto Fringe Festival, followed by a workshop at the Charlottetown Festival. This is the first production of the theatre for young audiences production, performed by young people.

Loosely based on The Brothers Grimm fairy tale "The Brementown Musicians," Bremen Rock City follows the story of Jack, a guitar-shredding donkey, who escapes from his boring life on The Farm to pursue his dream of becoming a rock star with his farm animal friends. This rockin' new musical is fun for the whole family. Join us for the World Premiere!
