First Run Theatre presents Stereo Heart by Mario Farwell, Jan. 9-18. Directed by Judy Yordon with original music by Tim Garcia, performances are: January 9, 10, 16, 17 2015 at 8:00 PM, January 11 & 18 2015 at 2:00 PM.

Advanced Tickets are $8-$12; tickets purchased at the door are $12-15.

The play is set in a rundown Stereo and TV repair shop in St. Louis, Missouri. Theo Freeman and Sunny Freeman, a father and son team, run the shop. The two men both have checkered past and an explosive secret they share. The two men discover half-million dollars' worth of cocaine in the back of one of the TVs and devise a scheme to sell the drug. They soon find out the drugs are the property of a drug kingpin, Three Thumbs Hank.

Georgette, the matriarch of the family, unaware of intrigue that's unfolding in her household, sells metal drums that the men have stored the drug. When Theo and Sunny discover the drums have been sold, they make a desperate attempt to retrieve them. Three Thumb Hank returns and demands his merchandize. The family is thrown into chaos, secrets are revealed, dreams are scattered resulting in tragic consequence.
