USITT 2017 is offering 13 architecture sessions, all approved for up to 20 AIA credit hours. Five of those sessions also provide health, safety, and welfare credits. The conference will run March 8-11 at America's Center Convention Complex in St. Louis.

AIA Continuing Education credits are required of architects to maintain a current license. In accordance with receiving credit for your involvement in the sessions, you will also be able to network with industry professionals all for a low cost.

USITT considers architecture an important discipline in the world of performing arts and live entertainment, design, and technology. Attending USITT 2017 is a financially smart way for architects to gain knowledge on the latest in performance space design and earn a substantial amount of credits at one event.

USITT 2017 architecture sessions include:

Pop-Up Theatres: experiential and Cultural Shift in Performance. Wed. March 8, 1-2:30 p.m.

Pop-Up theatres are quite literally popping up throughout the performance arts landscape. Explore how to transform built environments to accommodate these events.

Acoustics: Nothing to be Afraid of. Wed. march 8, 4:30-5:45 p.m.

Everything you needed to know about the acoustics of your venue- how to experiment to make sure you're fully utilizing the rooms you work in.

Keys to great Systems Integration. Thurs. March 9, 1-2:30 p.m.

The best theatre systems in the world cannot be said to be fully successful if they are not well integrated into the theatre architecture. This session will provide examples of the successful integration of stage lighting, audio, rigging, and lift systems into both new theatre architecture and historic theatre restorations.
