WOLF PRODUCTIONS is pleased to announce an added performance, Thursday, November 8th at 9:00 pm of the New York City premiere of the one-man play SWANSONG, written by Conor McDermottroe and performed by Andre de Vanny. Last night at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach, the acoustically perfect Alexander W. Dreyfoos Jr. Concert Hall was host to one of the most beautiful voices on the planet...that of five time Tony-Award winner Audra McDonald.

The Mac-Haydn Theatre (MHT), after a successful run of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, continues its 49th season with the 2004 musical comedy Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Based off of the 1988 movie of the same name, the 10-time Tony nominated musical by David Yazbek and Jeffrey Lane will be a MHT premiere.

On Monday night 5/23, Alvin Ing performed at The Duplex Theatre in GOT A LOT OF LIVIN' TO DO - written, produced and directed by Lainie Sakakura, filled the house with tears and laughter as Mr. Ing shared his story throughout the night. 

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Anne Jackson, who was nominated for a Tony in 1956 for MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT and who enjoyed a long career with her husband, Eli Wallach, died Tuesday, April 12, in Manhattan. She was 90.

New Georges (Susan Bernfield, Artistic Director; Sarah Cameron Sunde, Associate Director; Jaynie Saunders Tiller, Managing Director), the OBIE Award-winning downtown theater company founded in 1992, will present 'THE GERM PROJECT,' featuring the work of playwrights Kara Lee Corthron (directed by Kara-Lynn Vaeni), Lynn Rosen (directed by Shoshana Gold), Kathryn Walat (directed by Portia Krieger), and Anna Ziegler (directed by Beatrice Terry). The four 'germs' of full-length plays of scope and adventure commissioned by New Georges for this project will be presented together, fully produced, in a cohesive and satisfying ninety-minute intermission-less evening. There will be a connective thread to the pieces that will take place with visuals and storytelling. 'THE GERM PROJECT' will be performed at 3LD Art & Technology Center, 80 Greenwich Street (just south of Rector). Previews will begin on June 11, and the official Opening Night will be Monday, June 20 at 8:00 p.m. Performances will run through July 9.

Two-time Golden Globe and three-time Emmy Award-winner Edie Falco, currently starring opposite Alison Pill in Naked Angels' This Wide Night, was presented with an iconic Sardi's wall caricature yesterday, June 22.

Renowned actresses Amy Irving and Sian Phillips are appearing as the beautiful Desiree Armfeldt and Madame Armfeldt, her mother, with acclaimed baritone Ron Raines as Desiree's former lover, in Opera Theatre's new production of A Little Night Music directed and designed by Isaac Mizrahi.

Actress Lynn Redgrave has passed away at the age of 67 according to her publicist, Rick Miramontez. Redgrave, who had battled breast cancer, died Sunday night in her apartment at the age of 67.

MCC Theater (Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey, Artistic Directors; William Cantler, Associate Artistic Director; Blake West, Executive Director) presents Beth Henley's Family Week, directed by Jonathan Demme. Performances of the four person play began at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC) on April 9 and continue through May 23, 2010.

A scathing new comedy that shakes up Reality TV, Our House is the final production of the theater company's 2008/2009 Season.

The Directors Company production of Irena's Vow, the new play by Dan Gordon, starring four-time Tony nominee, and three-time Drama Desk Award-winner Tovah Feldshuh, and directed by Michael Parva, opened on Broadway last night, Sunday, March 29th. The Off-Broadway premiere of BASIC TRAINING, a new comedy created by and starring Kahlil Ashanti officially opened last night, October 13th. BASIC TRAINING is a hilarious story based on one soldier's outrageous experience in the U.S. Air Force and will play the Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow St. at 7th Avenue, 1 block south of Christopher Street). Performances began September 26th.
