Bridge & Tunnel,
which was a critical and commercial hit when it ran from February 19th
through August 15th 2004 at off-Broadway's 45 Bleecker Street Theatre,
netted Jones an OBIE Award for Outstanding Performance. In the piece,
Jones portrays over a dozen characters of varying nationalities and
economic backgrounds; a Chinese mother and a Latina woman at a poetry
slam are among Jones' personas in the show. Tony Taccone (Continental Divide), who directed the show off-Broadway and at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre, will return to stage the Broadway production.
