Sharing sage wisdom from her life and career as well as reflecting on many of her most popular properties to date, Williams reveals some of her many secrets to success while also looking ahead to next month's hotly anticipated all-star concert presentation of legendary Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein musical SHOW BOAT, co-starring Julian Ovenden, Norm Lewis, Jane Alexander and many more along with the New York Philharmonic under the direction of Ted Sperling. Additionally, Williams opens up about her multiple musical theatre endeavors highlighting the work of Stephen Sondheim, including the Tony Award-winning 2002 Best Revival production of INTO The Woods and the recent original revue SONDHEIM ON SONDHEIM. by Marakay Rogers - Oct 28, 2014

'The Mombasa Cartel' proves you can never trust a trailer. There's human-hunting, all right, but not enough for real fun or for an episode of CRIMINAL MINDS, which makes sense because this is THE BLACKLIST and not something starring Joe Mantegna. What we do have is that behind door number one is Not-Tom, which is a big Not-Surprise. Behind door number two, we have an evil cartel that traffics in illegal animal parts and substances for big money. And behind door number three? Peter Fonda. Because THE BLACKLIST is an A-list 'I want to be on that show' show for major stars, and Peter Fonda is one of those. (more...)

BWW Recap: 'The Abyss Gazes Back' on SLEEPY HOLLOWBWW Recap: 'The Abyss Gazes Back' on SLEEPY HOLLOW
by Courtney Henley - Oct 28, 2014

It's tense. It's hot. We see an extreme close-up of Ichabod, and he's in distress. He's being…tortured? Maybe. It's okay, though, Abbie's there to calm him down. But an equally close shot of her shows us that she's not exactly relaxing herself. She's calm, but focused. The camera moves back, and we see Abbie and Ichabod upside down…doing yoga. That's a relief. Let's be honest: is there anything more endearing than watching Ichabod trying to understand modernity? He's stressed and disappointed about Katrina lying to him, and Abbie's trying to get him to relax. Ichabod prefers the bar, though, and it's there that he dynamic duo stumble upon Sheriff Corbin's son, Joe. So begins this week's SLEEPY HOLLOW battle to save humanity. (more...)
