Acclaimed Irish indie rock band Pillow Queens is diving into intoxicating feelings with punchy, cathartic track and official video 'Heavy Pour' out now ahead of their LP release on Friday, April 19. The band's triumphant third studio album Name Your Sorrow is due out April 19 and available for pre-order now. This June, Pillow Queens will perform live across the UK and will support Snow Patrol in Limerick, IR on July 12 ahead of their biggest show to date on July 13 at Dublin, Ireland's Iveagh Gardens. The South Carolina New Play Festival has announced the 3rd annual festival. It will take place over four days, starting on Thursday, August 8, and will feature a wide range of musicals, plays, town halls, an outdoor variety stage, and will culminate in a Cabaret featuring Tony-nominee Phillip Boykin (Hadestown) on August 11.

Review: Fine Singing Makes RONDINE Easy to Swallow under Scappucci

The first night of the Met’s revival of Puccini’s LA RONDINE (THE SWALLOW) was filled with surprises of one sort or another, under the baton of that smart conductor, Speranza Scappucci. She knows her way around Puccini and deserves to be heard more frequently at the house. The production had glamour through Art Deco-ish scenic design by Ezio Frigerio, with lighting by Duana Schuler and costumes by Franca Squarciapino.

Following the conclusion of its third season in late 2023, Power Book III: Raising Kanan has just been renewed for a fifth season. The fourth season is currently filming in New York. The series stars MeKai Curtis in the titular role of Kanan, Tony and Grammy Award winner Patina Miller as his mother, Hailey Kilgore as Jukebox, and more.
