Journey into Narnia this summer with a superb new production of The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe in London's Kensington Gardens. Following up on last summer's popular production of Peter Pan, producers threesixty return to Kensington Gardens to create another enchanting theatrical experience, based on C.S. Lewis' first book in The Chronicles of Narnia series.



Staged in a enchanting state-of-the-art big-top tent in London's Hyde Park, the play brings the fantastical winter world of Narnia to life using elements from live theatre, spectacular video and puppetry special effects. C.S Lewis' classic story has been adapted for the stage by Rupert Goold, and the show is co-directed by Goold and Michael Fentiman.



So open the door, and enter a spectacular new world with Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy as they journey through the magical land of Narnia...

Oxford Playhouse to Present World Premiere of PETER PAN IN SCARLET, July 25

This summer marks the return of the Oxford Playhouse to middle scale producing with the world premiere of the stage adaptation of Peter Pan in Scarlet, the best-selling official sequel to JM Barrie's Peter Pan, written by Carnegie Medal and three times Whitbread Children's Book Award winner Geraldine McCaughrean.  The book was originally commissioned by Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity  to whom Barrie gifted all rights to the character and original writings in 1929.  The novel will be brought thrillingly to life by director and adapter Theresa Heskins, Artistic Director of the New Vic Theatre, and an award-winning team including Aerial Director, Vicki Amedume, Artistic Director of circus theatre company Upswing, composer and Musical Director, James Atherton and designer Liz Cooke.  (more...)

Melody Grove & More to Star in THE ILIAD at Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh

The Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh is delighted to announce full casting for its epic production of the classical Greek poem, The Iliad, directed by its Artistic Director, Mark Thomson. Olivier Award nominee Melody Grove, currently nominated for 'Best Actress in a Supporting Role' for her critically acclaimed performance alongside Mark Rylance in Farinelli and the King in London's West End last winter, will perform in this lavish and visceral production that explores the basic human emotions of love, jealousy and revenge against the backdrop of the Trojan War.
