Lipuma, announces a one-week extension to Company, featuring music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by George Furth. The production is directed by William Brown. Company features original orchestrations by Jonathan Tunick, Orchestral Reductions by Ian Weinberger, music direction by Tom Vendafreddo and choreography by Brock Clawson. 42ND STREET Company Gives Back to Dallas Community

This week, Dallas became the stage for a tragic sniper attack as Dallas police officers were gunned down while supporting a local peaceful protest. Just a few miles down the road, the touring company of 42ND STREET was onstage at the Music Hall at Fair Park, where they are just concluding their two-week visit before performing a one-week run at Fort Worth's Bass Performance Hall. As a response to the Dallas attack, as well as the other high-profile shootings over the last month, the cast decided to give something back to the community who has been coming out in full force to support them. Jeff Perry & Ora Jones to Star in LOVE KILLS Concert Reading at Steppenwolf, Today

Steppenwolf Theatre Company has added an additional offering to the LookOut summer lineup in the new 1700 Theatre, 1700 N Halsted. Love Kills: A Concert Reading by writer/composer Kyle Jarrow is a new rock musical about the famous teen spree killer Charlie Starkweather starring Steppenwolf ensemble members Jeff Perry and Ora Jones with Patrick Rooney. Directed by Kent Paul with musical direction by Matt Hinkley, there will be five performances: Friday, July 1 at 8pm, Saturday July 2 and Sunday, July 3 at 2:30 and 8pm.
