The Coral Springs Center for the Arts is welcoming the new year with 11 amazing concerts and shows in January and February.

Walnut Street Theatre's 2018-19 Independence Studio on 3 season continues with the wacky holiday musical revue, WINTER WONDERETTES. Directed by Richard Parison, the production begins with previews on November 13th, opens November 15th, and continues through December 30th.

Comedy legends Steve Martin and Martin Short will perform at the Washington Pavilion in "Now You See Them, Soon You Won't," on Saturday, June 8 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale starting October 24, 2018.

Broadway stars Jared Gertner and Rory O'Malley have joined the previously announced Skylar Astin, Barrett Foa, Carly Hughes, and Tracie Thoms for a one night only concert/staged reading of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown that will benefit PAWS/LA, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit agency serving people and pets in need now celebrating its 30th Anniversary. With book, music, and lyrics by Clark Gesner and directed by Randy Brenner, the musical director is Jake Anthony and Andrew Carlberg serves as producer. 

MAMMA MIA! is a musical phenomenon. Since the premiere of the original show in 1999, 60 million people worldwide have seen 50 different productions performed in 16 languages. In The Netherlands alone, this is the 3rd production of this show over the past 15 years. Returning to their home theatre, MAMMA MIA! has once again landed at the Beatrix Theater in Utrecht.

PAWS/LA, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit agency serving people and pets in need, will present a one night only concert/staged reading of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. With book, music, and lyrics by Clark Gesner and directed by Randy Brenner, this benefit event is set to feature Broadway stars (in alphabetical order) Skylar Astin (Spring Awakening), Barrett Foa (Avenue Q, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Mamma Mia!), Carly Hughes (Chicago, Pippin, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Ghost the Musical, The Book of Morman, Ragtime), Tracie Thoms (Rent, Falsettos), and more to be announced. Opera Philadelphia – “one of the most creative and ambitious companies in this country” (New York Times) – is set to take the opera world by storm once again, as it looks forward to O18, the second installment of its pioneering Festival O, with the “spirit ... not to follow taste but to lead it” (Philadelphia Inquirer). Festival 018comprises five operatic happenings – two world premieres, two new productions, and a three-part cabaret event – at multiple venues across the city from September 20-30, and features two superstar opera divas: coloratura soprano Brenda Rae and mezzo-soprano Stephanie Blythe, co-stars of Opera Philadelphia's acclaimed spring 2017 production of Rossini's Tancredi. Rae headlines a new production of Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor from celebrated director and designer Laurent Pelly that anchors both the O18 festival and the company's year-round Opera at the Academy series. Blythe (aka Blythely Oratonio) takes the stage at Philadelphia's Theatre of Living Arts (TLA) for a three-night, three-part cabaret takeover titled Queens of the Night, along with self-described “drag queen king” Dito van Reigersberg (aka Martha Graham Cracker). It all leads up to a reprise performance of Dito & Aeneas: Two Queens, One Night, Opera Philadelphia's 2017 cabaret-play spectacular, which was hailed as “smart and bubbly in all the right places” (Philadelphia Inquirer). The two divas even perform together on the TLA stage, when Rae makes a special guest appearance opposite Blythe, comedically echoing the tragic lovers of Tancredi.

Fox Stage Productions and Kevin McCollum have announced the creative team for the new Broadway-bound musical MRS. DOUBTFIRE. Four-time Tony Award Winner Jerry Zaks, (most recently represented on Broadway by the hit revival of Hello, Dolly!) will direct, joined by Tony Award Nominees (for Something Rotten!) John O'Farrell and Karey Kirkpatrick (book) and Karey and Wayne Kirkpatrick (music and lyrics).

Disney's hit West End musicals Aladdin and The Lion King have today announced that a summer Pop-Up will open its doors to Disney fans old and new in Covent Garden throughout August. Located at 25 Long Acre in the heart of Theatreland, the Pop-Up will be open every day from Tuesday 31st July until Sunday 26th August with a host of free interactive experiences and special events to enjoy.

Broadway's award-winning best musical, THE LION KING, is pleased to welcome Bradley Gibson as Simba beginning performances on Monday, July 2, 2018. Gibson joins the company from the original cast of A Bronx Tale.

This weekend, June 23rd and 24th, more than 18,000 guests will converge at Union Station to get a glimpse of the future and leave inspired by the hundreds of creative minds that "make" Maker Faire 2018.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey continues its 56th season with its second Main Stage production, Titus Andronicus. Resident Director Brian B. Crowe will helm this rarely produced Shakespearean tragedy. STNJ veteran Bruce Cromer will play the title role; Tony Award nominee Robert Cuccioli and returning company members Vanessa Morosco and Benjamin Eakeley will play leading roles amongst a cast of 20 actors that also includes young artists from the Theatre's renowned Summer Professional Training Program.
