New Book from 'Your Invincible Power' is Released
by BWW News Desk - Mar 15, 2017

Book release date - April 2017. This new book from Your Invincible Power isn't just a fictional story about a valiant family and their life journey, in fact, its thought provoking insight draws in the reader along with the characters in the book. Author Pamela Hamilton manages to teach the value of the soul through her willingness to go against conventional thinking and the harsh illusion of many of our core beliefs. She was told that, Love, Life and Beyond, couldn't be done, that spiritual mentors talking to the reader is not acceptable or creditable in fiction. However, these delightful mentors with powerful messages prove different. Amid issues of racism, drugs and teen problems, Love, Life and Beyond shows the reader another way of looking at life's jarring troubles through the story of Anne, a racist from the South, who dies from a brain aneurysm. After some time to reflect in the spiritual realm, Anne's soul is ready for another trial on Earth - this time in the body of Nova: a black girl. By means of some ethereal circumstances Nova finds herself hurled into the hostility of her former family's hate; having no clue of her previous non-physical proclamation to transform their beliefs. If you are tired of the usual conventional story-lines and you crave something more out of this world and yet something that works for you this fictional story peppered with some non-fictional insights has arrived. Love, Life and Beyond is set for release in April 2017 published with FriesenPress and is the first Fictional book from Your Invincible Power. Pamela invites you to join her and her son W.T on this journey of self empowerment and abundance at www.yourinvinciblepower.com (more...)

All three are perceived as tales for children, but, in reality, though they are intended to teach youngsters, the messages are often so complex that they go over the heads of their intended audience. BWW Review: NCTC's BRIGHT HALF LIFE is Sweet but Lacks Engaging Characters
by Jay Irwin - Feb 20, 2017

The theater is filled with some of the greatest love stories, "Romeo and Juliet", "Mary's Wedding", and "Falsettos" just to name a few of my favorites. But in order to engage an audience in a love story you need to give them a reason to invest in the relationship whether that's through a specific circumstance or interesting characters. Unfortunately New Century Theatre Company's current production of "Bright Half Life" has neither of those. What it has is two average people going through moments in their relationship utilizing a storytelling device that I've seen done better and what results is a love story that's about as engaging as reading a collection of a vague acquaintance's Facebook posts about their Love Life. (more...)
