The Belmont Theatre (formerly York Little Theatre) is set to produce the gothic musical thriller Jekyll & Hyde February 17-19 and 23-26 . The show tells the story of two men - one a doctor, passionate and romantic - the other, a terrifying madman; and two women - one, beautiful and trusting -the other, beautiful and trusting only herself. Both women are in love with the same man, and both are unaware of his dark secret. The story unfolds in gripping fashion with unforgettable songs like 'Someone Like You' and 'A New Life.'

In the Bar of a Tokyo Hotel, one of Tennessee Williams lesser known works plays for a limited run at 292 Theatre on The Lower East Side. The production was recently produced at the 2016 Tennessee Williams Theatre Festival in Provincetown, Massachusetts where it played to sold-out houses. Legendary New York actor/writer/director, Everett Quinton who is best known for his work with Ridiculous Theatrical Company, directs.

Street Theatre Company enters its 2017 season this February with a concert version of the crowd-pleasing, Broadway hit JEKYLL & HYDE. JEKYLL & HYDE will be the first part of Street Theatre's very popular and newly revived "Street Corner Concert Series." (The second, THE THREEPENNY OPERA, will be staged later this year.) Manhattan Musical Theatre Lab, a developmental organization founded 17 years ago by the late Director and Choreographer Bick Goss, will present the new musical Brooklyn Bridge at the St. Luke's Theatre on October 24 at 6:30 pm (St. Luke's is at 308 West 46th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues). With a book and lyrics by Ray Roderick, music by Joseph Baker, and musical direction by Laura Bergquist, Brooklyn Bridge is an innovative musical inspired by the extraordinary life of Emily Roebling, wife of Brooklyn Bridge Chief Engineer Washington Roebling. 

Throughout all of human history, there has been something sexy and intoxicating about the fine line between good and evil; the dangerous desire to understand it, to conquer it, to control it. The Greater Orlando Actors' Theatre production of the musical JEKYLL & HYDE, running through Sunday, September 25th at the home of Central Florida Community Arts, ably captures the alluring sexuality of this temptation, but is never able to realize the innate danger that accompanies it.

Central Works (CW) world premiere of Patricia Milton's political comedy Hearts of Palm has been extended through Sunday, August 21.
