The Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning musical, A CHORUS LINE, is warming up for one singular, sensational weekend of performances this August on the West Fargo High School stage. Presented by SUMMER ARTS INTENSIVE, a collaboration between the West Fargo High School Theatre Department and the West Fargo Public Schools, A CHORUS LINE is set for four performances- August 2, 3 & 4 at 7:30pm and August 5 at 2:30pm.

The admirable mission of Gigi Naglak and MeghAnn Williams, writer/performers of Chlamydia Dell'Arte: A Sex Ed Burlesque, is to remove some of the awkwardness in open discussions about human sexuality by treating intimate issues with humor.  Their modestly produced show, which just completed a week-long run at Los Kabayitos, is obviously built to travel, coming to Gotham via stints in Philly and DC, and the amiable pair pulls off their mission with endearing enthusiasm.

A Chorus Line, the ground-breaking 1970s musical about unsung Broadway dancers putting everything on the line at an audition to be in a show, opens the season June 15-24. Bye Bye Birdie, the jubilant 1960s rock 'n' roll inspired parody of what happens to a small Midwestern community when an Elvis-like musical star swings through town looking for one last kiss before entering the Army, runs July 13-22. My Fair Lady, the timeless 1950s Lerner and Loewe classic about an arrogant professor's transformation of a Cockney flower girl into an elegant, proper-speaking lady, takes the stage August 10-19. Casts and creative teams will be announced at a future date.

Tony Award winning triple threat Donna McKechnie will always be remembered as Cassie in A Chorus Line, and of course for her solo within it 'The Music and the Mirror'.
