I don't know about you, but I rarely go to a musical in a bad mood. But I was in a bit of a bad mood when I arrived for the Sunday matinee of Spamalot this weekend - my kids were bickering, my husband was trying to manage my driving on the way to Albuquerque, I was exhausted from my week at my real job - so what a delight to sit down at the lovely Rodey Theater and have a completely fun and frothy afternoon with Landmark Musicals' production of Spamalot.

On Friday, June 28, I had the pleasure of seeing the farcical Monty Python musical SPAMALOT performed outdoors by Musicals at Richter, on the grounds of the Richter House, next to the Richter Park Golf Course in Danbury, CT. I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience with Musicals at Richter. I am very impressed at the high level of talent that they have assembled together to perform what is truly a wonderful production for all in attendance, and all on stage. The show is brilliantly directed by Shannon Courtney Denihan with musical direction by Tracey Marble and Claire Simard.

Musicals at Richter (MAR), celebrating 35 seasons as the longest-running outdoor theater in Connecticut, kicks off its main stage season with 'Monty Python's Spamalot,' the uproariously funny musical based on the classic film comedy 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail,' playing June 28 to July 13.

Marcie Gorman-Althof and Michael Lifshitz, the producing partners behind MNM Productions, one of South Florida's hottest new theatre companies, today announced that Alpert Jewish Family & Children's Service will be the exclusive nonprofit partner for the May 18 preview performance of its next production, Monty Python's SPAMALOT, which will run May 19 through June 4 at the Kravis Center's Rinker Playhouse.

Last year, Raleigh Little Theatre presented their production of a musical that was lovingly ripped off from the 1975 classic film Monty Python & the Holy Grail. Now through November 20th, North Carolina Theatre is presenting their production without ripping off RLT. Spamalot is a highly irreverent spoof of the quest of King Arthur and and his Knights of the roundtable.

Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) will stage Nuevo California to open its Studio Works Series for the 2016-2017 season. The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre, the Frederick area's only year-round professional producing theatre, has announced its 2016 Season.  Producers for the theatre are excited to bring the line-up of shows to the theatre because it will mark an expansion of Way Off Broadway's Mainstage season.  Since 2004, the theatre located in the Willowtree Plaza off of Route 40 West in Frederick has produced five Mainstage shows each season.  The 2016 Season will mark the beginning of a six show season for Way Off Broadway.  In addition, all six shows will be first-time productions for Way Off Broadway, never having been staged by the theatre before.
