First Stage kicks off its 2022/23 season with the delightful world premiere production of ARTHUR AND FRIENDS MAKE A MUSICAL!, written by First Stage Resident Playwright, lyricist and actor John Maclay, with Music and Lyrics by actor, composer/lyricist, writer and First Stage alum Brett Ryback, adapted from the books and characters created by Marc Brown and directed and choreographed by Bay Area Children's Theatre Artistic Director Khalia Davis.

The King Center for the Performing Arts has announced the return of MANIA: The ABBA Tribute and Get The Led Out – A Celebration of “The Might Zep” coming back to the Space Coast! Both events are presented by Elko Concerts. Mania: The ABBA Tribute will take place on Wednesday, February 22nd, 2023, at 7:30 PM.

'Sounds Good to Me' is a brand-new performing songwriter series conceived and hosted by long-time K-W music veteran Jack Cooper and takes place at Waterloo's K-W Little Theatre.

Waitress is returning to Charlotte for a special five-week engagement, beginning today, April 19, through May 22, 2022 in the Booth Playhouse! The run will be followed by a five-week engagement at Cleveland's Playhouse Square May 26-June 26, 2022 in the Hanna Theatre.

Written solo by lead singer Cody Cannon, the group celebrated by Esquire for their “straight-up, booze-swilling, highway-driving, heart-on-your-sleeve, blood-on-your-knuckles country music” is back with even more new music with the release of new song ‘Antioch’. The track is from Whiskey Myers’ sixth studio album Tornillo.

The go-to director for many benefit one-nighters, Tony Spinosa will world premiere his own SINGING REVOLUTION: THE MUSICAL January 15, 2022 on the Broadwater Theatre Main Stage. So what does a cabaret director do? Today in my ongoing series, THERE ARE NO ONE-PERSON SHOWS, we will find out from one of the busiest cabaret directors in New York, Marc Tumminelli. Marc is the founder of Broadway Workshop, which provides year-round, professional-level classes and workshops for kids 8-19 with some of the finest artists working on Broadway and in the West End. He is also the founder of Project Broadway, a non-profit that provides scholarship opportunities to young performers.

Irish Arts Center (IAC), based in New York City and renowned for presenting dynamic, inspiring, collaborative experiences of the evolving arts and culture of Ireland and Irish America in an environment of warm Irish hospitality, will open the doors to its long-heralded new home, a 21,700 square foot hub for the arts at 726 11th Avenue, with a monumental inaugural season of programming, from December 2021 to December 2022.

The show still has a winning recipe, but this touring production doesn't measure up to its 2018 D.C. predecessor.

Jake Broder's UNRAVELLED virtually premieres February 25, 2021. Jake explores the not-oft-told, surprising, complicated connection between genius, art and medical science, told via the correlation between modern Canadian artist Dr. Anne Adams (1940–2007) and French composer Maurice Ravel (1875–1937). Jake found some time between his multitasking of juggling his multiple writing projects to answer a few of my queries.
