Rehearsals begin today for The 5th Avenue Theatre's new production of Mamma Mia!, the celebrated musical that features the music of global pop sensation ABBA. The 5th Avenue Theatre is the first producing theater company in the Pacific Northwest to be granted the rights to create its own refreshed version of the show, which toured the world for nearly 20 years.

Urban Stages, Frances Hill, Founding Artistic Director, will kick-off its 34th season with the World Premiere of Zhu Yi's A DEAL, directed by John Giampietro. This limited engagement at Urban Stages (259 West 30th Street), begins performances on November 15, opens on Monday, November 20 and will run through December 10, 2017. Rattlestick Playwrights Theater in collaboration with The Sol Project Latinx theater company will present the New York premiere of Martin Zimmerman's meditation on mourning, redemption and revenge, 'Seven Spots On The Sun,' directed by Ethiopian-Canadian 2016 Dora Award winner Weyni Mengesha. The six week engagement runs from April 26th to June 10th.
