The Grand Theatre is thrilled to announce a first-time collaboration with the American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.), bringing A THOUSAND SPLENDID SUNS to the Spriet Stage. This acclaimed stage adaptation, based on the award-winning novel by Khaled Hosseini, had its world premiere in San Francisco in July 2016 and became the bestselling production in A.C.T.'s history. The Grand's production will premiere an all new, all Canadian cast with original staging by A.C.T. Artistic Director Carey Perloff. Blue Note Hawaii welcomes some of music's most renowned artists this month, continuing the Hawaii News Now Jazz Legends series with Tony and GRAMMY (R) Award-winning jazz vocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater and epic drummer Billy Cobham. Jazz virtuoso guitarist Earl Klugh returns, jazz fusion saxophonist Boney James and reggae giants Big Mountain close the month. Local artists this month include Kuana Torres Kahele, Josh Kaye and Friends featuring Riya Davis in a tribute to Jill Scott, a tribute to the Miles Davis First Great Quintet with DeShannon Higa & QuadPod, Amy Hanaiali'i, and a tribute to Antonio Carlos Jobim with Sandy Tsukiyama and friends. 'An Evening With Greg Brown' is set for the Boulder Theater on Friday, June 22, 2018.

The Irvington Town Hall Theater (ITHT) Commission, which oversees the beautiful and historic 115-year-old, 432-seat theater in Town Hall of Irvington, N.Y., announced on Wednesday the launch of a two-date winter film series -- Rock the Winter Blues -- at the theater, with screenings on Friday, Jan. 12, 2018, and Friday, Feb. 2, 2018, both starting at 7:30pm.

City Winery Chicago, 1200 W. Randolph Street, announces award-winning R&B artist Melanie Fiona, two evenings with top-selling rock group Candlebox ( Far Behind, You ), groundbreaking hip-hop band Flobots and more.

Saxophonist, composer, and bandleader Rahsaan Barber's years of activity as a performer, producer, presenter, educator, and most recently DJ in his native Nashville have established him as an integral part of the city's vibrant jazz scene.

Music stars Reba McEntire, Chris Stapleton, Lady Antebellum and Wynonna Judd have been added to the momentous lineup for 'All In For The Gambler: Kenny Rogers' Farewell Concert Celebration,' an all-star concert event taping at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee today, October 25, 2017 at 7PM CT.

November programming has been announced at City Winery Chicago.
