Dominic Nolfi and Jarrod Spector will step into the roles of Tommy DeVito and Frankie Valli, respectively, in the Broadway cast of JERSEY BOYS, the Tony® and Grammy® Award-winning smash hit musical, on Tuesday, September 30. Tony Award® winner Christian Hoff, who originated the role of Tommy DeVito at La Jolla Playhouse and on Broadway, and Michael Longoria, currently playing Frankie Valli, played their final performances on Sunday, September 28. As of September 30th 2008 the cast of Jersey Boys is now led by Sebastian Arcelus (Bob Gaudio), Matt Bogart (Nick Massi), Dominic Nolfi (Tommy DeVito) and Jarrod Spector (Frankie Valli) as The Four Seasons; with Peter Gregus and Mark Lotito. Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) is proud to announce Tony® award winner Michael Cerveris (Jorgen Tesman) & Paul Sparks (Ejlert Lovborg) will join previously announced Tony® award winner Mary-Louise Parker (Hedda Gabler) in a new Broadway production of Hedda Gabler by Henrik Ibsen. The production features a new adaptation by Christopher Shinn and will be directed by Ian Rickson. Hedda Gabler will begin previews on Tuesday, January 6th, 2009 and open officially on Sunday, January 25th, 2009 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway (227 West 42nd Street). Adrian Noble Named As Artistic Director Of The Old Globe's 2010 Shakespeare Festival

Executive Producer Louis G. Spisto today announced the appointment of Adrian Noble as Artistic Director of The Old Globe's 2010 Shakespeare Festival celebrating the theater's 75th anniversary season. One of the theater's most respected and sought-after directors, Noble will oversee the Festival and direct two of the three productions presented in repertory. Noble succeeds Resident Artistic Director Darko Tresnjak who will leave his post in September to pursue independent directing opportunities. The annual festival will run from June 12 through September 26, 2010. (more...)
