Three dozen of the best from Broadway and the entertainment industry saluted the one-year anniversary of RWQuarantunes, a pandemic-inspired series of invite-only online concerts, by coming together Sunday, April 11, 2021, for a five-hour celebration of Broadway and Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Under Artistic Director Tim Bonda??s leadership, TheatreWorks Silicon Valley has just launched an ambitious new online initiative entitled Voices of Democracy, with the intention of encouraging audiences to get out the vote and stand up for racial justice. Leading up to the 2020 election, Voices of Democracy offers digital theatrical experiences that celebrate diverse voices and build a bridge from empathy to action, including plays, poetry, and curated quotes that shine a light on pressing issues during this election year. BroadwayWorld recently caught up with Tim Bond to learn more about Voices of Democracy and his own history before coming to TheatreWorks. Bond is a fascinating guy to talk to so our conversation took all kinds of interesting twists and turns. A true people person, he is especially committed to using theater to build community and effect change. In conversation, he often takes his time to respond to questions and is apt to speak in complex sentences that show a great deal of thought. He is not someone who needs to shout to make his voice heard and frequently leavens his responses with gentle laughter. At once brainy and comfortable expressing his emotions, Bond is clearly a person of heart and mind.

St. Dunstan's Theatre presents Neil Simon's 1978 Tony Award winning play, Chapter Two. Love always deserves another chapter.

Rainy Day Productions will present industry readings of the new play Chasing the River by Jean Dobie Giebel. Directed by Illana Stein, the six-member cast will feature Tony Carlin, Aaron Costa Ganis, Annie Golden, Deborah Rayne, Chet Siegel, and Wendy Rich Stetson. Public booking opens at 9am today for The Jamie Lloyd Company production of Harold Pinter's Betrayal starring Golden Globe, Olivier and Evening Standard Award winner Tom Hiddleston. This new production, directed by Jamie Lloyd, will run at the Harold Pinter Theatre from 5 March 2019 (press night 13 March) for a strictly limited season ending on 1 June. To celebrate, a new behind-the-scenes shot of Tom Hiddleston, taken whilst filming the production's viral announcement trailer, is released today.
