Halsted St. in Chicago. The searing new American drama by The New Colony Co-Artistic Director Evan Linder, directed by Definition Theatre's Founding Artistic Director Tyrone Phillips, enjoyed two sold-out extensions during its world premiere last winter at The Den Theatre. Maggie's Little Theater, the resident theatre of the century-old St. Margaret's Parish Hall at 79th Place and Juniper Valley Road in Middle Village announces that Guys and Dolls will close its eighth season. Guys and Dolls, with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows is a classic of the American musical theatre. Guys and Dolls is based on stories and characters created by Damon Runyon. Step back in time to 1950s New York City in the newly-renovated and air-conditioned parish hall on July 16, 22, & 23 at 8:00pm or on July 17 & 24 at 2:30pm. Society of London Theatre Reveals 2016 Laurence Olivier Bursaries

19 students from drama schools across the UK were today awarded £67,500 worth of bursaries by Society of London Theatre (SOLT) in order to help them complete their training. The Clothworkers' Foundation bursary is worth a total of £37,500 over five years with £7,500 awarded to a student annually as part of the Laurence Olivier Bursaries scheme. (more...)

Works by 40 Contemporary Artists to Open This Fall at Jewish Museum
