The new Broadway production of Hello, Dolly! starring Bette Midler is making headlines yet again as it breaks its own box office records with the highest weekly gross in the history of both the Shubert Theatre (225 West 44th Street) and The Shubert Organization.

It has been reported that tonight's performance of Hello Dolly! was stopped after the show's star, Tony Award winner, Bette Midler fell from a moving set piece during the show.

Tickets are now on sale for four of the most anticipated shows on Broadway this season: Bernadette Peters in HELLO, DOLLY!; Glenda Jackson, Laurie Metcalf, and Alison Pill in Edward Albee's THREE TALL WOMEN; Joshua Henry, Jessie Mueller, and Renee Fleming in Rogers & Hammerstein's CAROUSEL; and Denzel Washington in Eugene O'Neill's THE ICEMAN COMETH. BroadwayWorld has just confirmed that Linda Mugleston made her debut as Dolly Gallagher Levi yesterday afternoon in Hello, Dolly! Mugleston understudies the role and was filling in for Tony winner Bette Midler for the Wednesday matinee performance. Midler was indeed back on for the evening performance. Ticket holders who came to see Midler were offered a refund at the box office.
