ON THE TOWN with Leonard Bernstein's Classic Score Opens 7/11 at Music Circus

The 67th Music Circus season continues with the classic Leonard Bernstein musical comedy On The Town. This will be just the third time the Bernstein masterpiece has been produced at Music Circus, and its first appearance in the Wells Fargo Pavilion; previous Music Circus productions were in 1955 and 1961. Performances of On The Town are Tuesday, July 11 through Sunday, July 16 at the Wells Fargo Pavilion. (more...)

Mugleston understudies the role and was filling in for Tony winner Bette Midler for the Wednesday matinee performance. Midler was indeed back on for the evening performance. ???????The students of the Summer Musical Theater Intensive at Broadway Method Academy in Fairfield, CT had the amazing opportunity to work with Tony Award Winner, Kelli O'Hara (Light in the Piazza, South Pacific, King & I).  The Tony Winner shared stories of her theatrical journey and spoke of the importance of capitalizing on uniqueness. Students had the chance to ask O'Hara questions about life and the business, and a few were able to sing for the Tony winner. Moonlight Stage Productions continues its 37th season with the San Diego Regional Premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber's masterful homage to the golden age of Hollywood, Sunset Boulevard, Aug. 16 - Sept. 2, at the Moonlight Amphitheatre.
