This evening of plays will include THE SECRET LIFE OF ELEANOR RIGBY which explores the intimate-- and somewhat ambiguous--relationship between a woman and her Cantonese-speaking cat. In BONES: THE TALE OF CALLIE ARCHER a woman who has come to question the nature of the cement city she lives in is transformed as she seeks to change and heal her environment. This is a creation myth for a world yet to be and includes live traditional Celtic harp music.

Sherry Narens has worked in theatre all her adult life as an actor, playwright and director. Beginning with the eleven years she worked with Chicago Dramatists (during which time her play, Parktalk, was produced there) she has focused largely on new plays and new play development. Her play Theresa Bassoon has received multiple awards, including an Award from The Kennedy Center Fund for New American Plays, and the Best Full Length Play Award at The Actors Theatre of Santa Cruz. Since moving to Seattle she's seen production of her short plays Village of the Sirens (The Art Project and Northwest Playwrights' Alliance), Doors and Tunnels (Live Girls Quickies 11), and The Destiny of Souls (2009) and Box (2010) with Seattle Playwrights Collective. She is a member of The Dramatists Guild as well as Actors Equity and SAG-AFTRA.
