Join us in the BPA Gallery February 5 for an artist reception and a fun evening of art, food, and friends.

Formed over 10 years ago from classes originally led by Gillian Bull, the "Tuesday Painters" group seeks to nourish the artistic drive of its members and support their practice of creating art. Members of the group paint weekly, mainly on Bainbridge Island, in the open air throughout summer. During the wet and chilly months, the group meets to work on prior studies, or from photographs or still life setups.

The February exhibit at the BPA Gallery features various media from Gillian Bull, Bridget Grant, Kaye Hansen, Joan Kinsman, Dorothy Matthews, Mary Pearce, Susan Rosenberg, Mary Stroeing, and Nikki Vick.

The BPA Gallery showcases regional artists in monthly rotating exhibits in the C. Keith Birkenfeld Lobby and regularly participates in the First Friday Art Walk from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Gallery hours are 12:00 - 5:00 p.m. Tuesday - Friday plus one hour prior to each performance. Admission is free, and information is available online at www.bainbridgeperformingarts.org, by phone at 206.842.8569 or in person at BPA, 200 Madison Avenue North, Bainbridge Island. BPA Box Office hours are 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and one hour prior to each performance.
