Taking place in both 16th-century Seville and modern-day Chicago, David Ives' Don Juan in Chicago blends the classic stories of Don Juan and Faust. In this new creation, Don Juan sells his soul to the devil to live forever and to discover the meaning of life through knowledge... but he'll also have to learn the art of seduction. A rip-roaring, fast-paced comedy in prose and verse, this play explores the emotions that can be attached to both love and sex.

The cast features Dylan Smith as Don Juan alongside a skilled ensemble of Randall Brammer, Amanda Falcone, Caitlin Frances, Todd Hull, Zach Sanders, Amberlee Williams, and Kate Witt.

Don Juan in Chicago is directed by Joshua Jon, assistant directed by Nick Giacalone, stage managed by Dani Dodge, with lighting design by Zach Brink, sound design by John Epperson, costume design by Alison Owen, and set design by Kim Rosin.

Performances will be held at The Ballard Underground, 2220 NW Market Street, Seattle on Thursdays - Saturdays at 7:30 pm; Tuesday, May 20 at 7:30 pm; and Sunday, May 18 at 2:00pm (performance interpreted for the hearing impaired). There will be no performance on Saturday, May 17.
