Complete casting has been announced for the White Plains Performing Arts Center's upcoming production of I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change which will play the New York venue March 18 - 20.

Amy Griffin will direct the production with music direction by Anthony Travaglini and choreography by Lexie Fennell Frare.

I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change features book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro (Memphis) and music by Jimmy Roberts (The Thing About Men)

This hilarious show, the second longest running Off-Broadway musical ever, reveals the difficulties and joys of connecting with another person. Everything you've secretly thought about dating, romance, love, marriage and in-laws, but were afraid to admit, is celebrated in this joyride through the jungle of the modern day dating game. This musical revue pays tribute to those who have loved and lost, to those who have fallen on their face at the portal of romance, to those who have dared to ask, 'Say, what are you doing Saturday night?'

The cast of four actors explore male/female relationships in every phase of life-from singles to seniors-in 20 very funny, and sometimes poignant, musical vignettes. Anyone who has ever dated or been married would agree that the portrayals are very accurate.

The White Plains Performing Arts Center's cast features married couple, Brittany Bara and Daniel Pivovar (who were engaged on our stage after the New Year's Eve performance of LES MISERABLES in 2013), Steven Liberto and Tiffany Stoker, also no strangers to our stage but not romantically involved with each other...at least not to our knowledge.

The characters and songs include the "Stud and the Babe," the single girl who's "Always a Bridesmaid," the classic macho men explaining "Why? 'Cause I'm a Guy," the couple taking their "Wedding Vows," the exhausted new parents and "The Baby Song," divorcee Rose Ritz making her "Very First Dating Video," and the elderly couple connecting at a funeral and compromising with "I Can Live With That."

This celebration of the mating game takes on the truths and myths behind that contemporary conundrum known as 'the relationship.'

I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change will play the White Plains Performing Arts Center March 18-20 (Friday at 8pm; Saturday at 8pm; Sunday at 2pm). Tickets are $25 - $35.

White Plains Performing Arts Center is located on the third level of City Center off Mamaroneck Avenue and Main Street in downtown White Plains.
