Let's start with the ever popular touring productions that make there way every year from Broad to Walnut Sts. If you are a fan of Andrew Lloyd Webber you'll not want to miss the tour stop of "Evita", featuring Philadelphia favorite Josh Young playing Che. Evita runs briefly from 6/17 to 6/22 followed by the Broadway hit show "Book of Mormon" which visits the city from 7/29 to 10/7. Just around the block at The Walnut Street Theater is the 2014 season closer of "How to Succeed in Business" with an all star mostly Philly area cast, running through. 7/13 www.walnutstreettheatre.org for more information.

Looking to for some theater fun outside of the city? Why not head out to New Hope Pa. enjoy the shops, food and the Buck County Playhouse which will be mounting the popular "Vanya and Sonia and Masha & Spike" from 7/17 to 8/10. www.bcptheatre.org for more information. I would walk over the bridge to the Lambertville Station Restaurant, if I were you!

Heading to Historic Bristol Pa? Don't forget to catch one of the seven "summer musicales" at The Bristol Riverside Theater. Two that I wouldn't miss are "Juke Box Saturday Night" and "The Calamari Sisters". All shows run on various dates in July and August. Visit www.brstage.org for more information. Feeling the need to get out of the city, cross the bridge into New Jersey? Come on down! There are some great theater spaces doing some fun shows. Heading to the shore? We've got you covered! Ocean Professional Theater Co. in Barneget is gearing up for "Singin' in The Rain" 7/10 to 19 and "Chicago" 7/24 to 8/2. Say hello to Steve Steiner!

Surf's up at The Surflight Theater, Beach Haven who are taking on Frank Wildhorn's "Jekyll and Hyde" featuring Broadway's Bart Shatto (Valjean in their Le Miz) from 6/18 to 7/06. www.surflight.org for more on this.

On the Way to Cape May? Here's something new and exciting. 3 brand new variety shows at the Cape May Convention Center; "An Evening at the Cape May Summer Club" co- created and hosted by Cape May's own Jeff Coon. Jeff is best known for his many starring roles in Philly's theaters, but he's a Cape May lad! With performers from New York and Philadelphia performing music from the Golden Era, Broadway Standards and Shore Favorites, every show will be different. Show dates are 7/26 and 8/16.
