Once Upon A Time Players, a theatre company based in Bucks County, PA, celebrates its 10th season with Pasek and Paul'sDogfight with performances June 12-14 at Washington Crossing Open Air Theatre, 355 Washington Crossing-Pennington Road in Titusville, New Jersey. Dogfight is a musical with music and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (A Christmas Story) and a book by Peter Duchan. It is an adaptation of Nancy Savoca's 1991 film, Dogfight.

The production is directed by Brendan Stackhouse, who is currently represented on Broadway in the hit musical Fun Home, where he's Choreography Assistant.

Winner of the Lucille Lortel Award for Best Musical, Dogfight, premiered off-Broadway at Second Stage Theatre, and tells the story of three young Marines set out for one final boys' night of debauchery on the eve of their deployment. When Corporal Eddie Birdlace (Alex Ward) meets Rose (Hannah Quinn), an awkward and idealistic waitress, he enlists to win a cruel bet with his fellow recruits, but she rewrites the rules of the game and teaches him the power of love and compassion.

The musical features Bucks County actors: Amy Bishop, Brian Dratch, and Jonathan Zeidler, and New York City based actors: Ashley Burger, Christopher Herr, Courtney Kenyon, Dan Kriss, Max Meyers, Hannah Quinn, and Alex Ward.

Once Upon a Time Players (OUATP), a theatre company committed to providing high quality theatre at a low cost for the audience, was co-founded in 2006 by current Artistic Director Brendan Stackhouse. OUATP was originally based out of the Free Library of Northampton Township where they would put on free Children's Theatre for library patrons. Now, ten years later, Once Upon a Time Players has become a professional theatre company with over 50 shows under their belt at over 10 different theatres in the Philadelphia, New Jersey, and New York areas and employing a company of professional young actors from 29 States across the US.

As the director of Dogfight, Brendan Stackhouse believes that it is "an important show to experience as it pairs a fantastic score with a thrilling story about the power of compassion and forgiveness that will leave the audience moved."

The creative team includes Garret Healey as musical director, Julia Karis as associate director, and features scenic and costume Design by Matt Iacozza. Allie Dufford (pre-Broadway School of Rock) is Executive Producer.

Tickets can be purchased for $15 at the door, or over the phone with Open Air Theatre (267) 885-9857. For complete information about the 2015 Summer Season of Mainstage Shows, directions and more, visit the website at www.downtownpac.com.
