Act II Playhouse to Stage BROADWAY ON BUTLER and ON THE ROAD AGAIN This Summer

Act II Playhouse in Ambler is proud to announce its lineup of great summer entertainment: the all-new Broadway on Butler and the return of On the Road Again.

The all-new Broadway on Butler is on stage July 13-24. Come enjoy an all-new evening of great songs and dances! Featuring tunes from your favorite movies, musicals, and Broadway shows. Performers include Act II favorites Sonny Leo (Kiss Me, Kate, Man of La Mancha andmore), Eileen Cella (My Fair Lady, Lend Me a Tenor), and talented newcomer Patrick Romano! You'll hear the beat of dancing feet and laugh at a joke or two. Come spend a summer night with a song in your heart and a smile on your face.

Tony Braithwaite and Jennifer Childs' On the Road Again returns July 27-August 7, 2016. Philly's favorite comedic couple teams up again! This acclaimed and hilarious show looks at travel, vacations, and that need to get away from it all. When it premiered in January, it sold out all three weeks of performances. The Philadelphia Inquirer called it "another Childs-and-Braithwaite success" and raved that it "left the audience and this author in stitches." Directed by Mary Carpenter, On the Road Again features Owen Robbins on piano, and is a co-production with 1812 Productions.

Performances of Broadway on Butler and On the Road Again are Wednesdays-Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $25-$33, with discounts available for subscribers, students, and seniors 65+.
