On Monday March 20, TDF honored the entire production of Kinky Boots with a one-night-only concert TDF HONORS KINKY BOOTS to raise funds for TDF's access and education programs.  Composer Cyndi Lauper and director/choreographer Jerry Mitchell welcomed the crowd followed by performances by the show's original stars Billy Porter, Annaleigh Ashford and Stark Sands, former "Lolas" Todrick Hall and Alan Mingo, Jr.; former "Lauren"  Jeanna de Waal, former "Charlie" Andy Kelso, the entire current Broadway cast and "Angels' from previous casts. 

Broadway veteran Matt Doyle (THE BOOK OF MORMON, WAR HORSE, SPRING AWAKENING) will release his first full-length album -- UNCONTROLLED -- on February 26th, 2016. Below, check out a just-released music video for 'Moment.'

Annaleigh Ashford has been on a roll since taking home her Tony Award in June. Currently starring as Broadway's favorite pooch in SYLVIA, she also juggles her hit cabaret act, LOST IN THE STARS, and her role on Showtime's MASTERS OF SEX. In between it all, she joined a long list of guests for SAG-AFTRA Foundation and BroadwayWorld's Conversations Q&A series, recognizing and celebrating the vibrant theatre community in New York City and the union actors who aspire to have a career on the stage and screen. Broadway In Chicago will soon welcome Tony Award® nominee Annaleigh Ashford (Kinky Boots, Chicago production of WICKED, You Can't Take It With You and Masters of Sex) as she makes her solo Chicago premiere with an evening of song, story and sequin in her critically-acclaimed, Lost in the Stars, for one-night only on Saturday, March 21 at 8 PM at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. Chestnut).

After a sold-out first edition, Broadway's best writers and performers teamed together again to help raise funds for children with special needs in New York City and around the world. Victor Legra, Anthony Crouchelli & M.O.V.E for Autism presented 'Putting the Pieces Together: Volume 2' featuring the music of Carner and Gregor, Rosser and Sohne, Maglione and Ruiz, Joey Contreras, Justin Anthony Long, Jonathan Lee & Joanna Burns; David Dabbon, and Will Van Dyke. On Jan. 21, 2013, Larson and Rodgers Award winning composer-lyricist Ryan Scott Oliver returned to Joe's Pub with a collection of work from his musicals Out of My Head (2005), Mrs. Sharp (2007), Darling (2009), 35mm (2010), Jasper in Deadland (2011), The Frog Prince Cont. BEN CAMERON (Wicked, Aida, Footloose) is the host and creator of BROADWAY SESSIONS at THE MIDTOWN THEATRE at the HA! Comedy Club (163 West 46th Street / Between 6th & 7th Avenues) every Thursday night at 11:00pm. Broadway Sessions is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week, and features musical director/composer Will Van Dyke (The Addams Family) on piano. In addition after the show we open the microphone up to anyone who wants to sing. Open mic from 12:00-2am.
