On August 15th, Matt Doyle (War Horse, Spring Awakening, Bye Bye Birdie) celebrated the release of his debut EP, 'Daylight', with a concert at Le Poisson Rouge. Check out highlights from the show below!

On the day of its release, Daylight, broke the Top 40 on the iTunes pop charts. Co-written by composer/musical director, Will Van Dyke, "Daylight" draws inspirations from the golden age of soul music. In addition to the original music, the EP will also include a cover of "Lost and Lookin" by Sam Cooke. Recorded in Nashville and New York City, "Daylight" was meticulously cast with some of the finest musicians in the country.

Doyle joined the original cast of Spring Awakening on Broadway at the age of 19. As an actor, Matt continues to work on Broadway (currently appearing in War Horse) and is also known for his recurring role as Jonathan on The CW's Gossip Girl. Matt has performed to sold-out audiences in New York's hottest venues, including Joe's Pub, and Feinstein's at the Regency.
