Broadway veteran Matt Doyle (THE BOOK OF MORMON, WAR HORSE, SPRING AWAKENING) will release his first full-length album -- UNCONTROLLED -- on February 26th, 2016. Below, check out a just-released music video for "Moment."

In 2011, Matt's first EP, DAYLIGHT, broke the top 40 on the iTunes pop charts. The follow up, CONSTANT, broke the top 25 in 2012. Doyle takes his inspiration from classic folk, blues, and soul artists. His music can be similarly compared to that of Jamie Cullum, Sam Smith, Gavin Degraw, and Adele.

UNCONTROLLED is produced by Derik Lee (Hamilton Cast Recording) and Will Van Dyke (Rent, Kinky Boots). With music and lyrics by Matt Doyle, Uncontrolled was co-written and arranged by Will Van Dyke. Additional tracks were co-written by Joel Huemann, Tina Parole, and Jason Gantt through SONY/ATV Publishing in Nashville, TN.

The release concert, at Le Poisson Rouge, will feature some of the finest musicians in New York City, including Alec Berlin (Guitar), Mason Ingram (Drums), Steve Gilewski (Bass), Alison Seidner (Cello), and Will Van Dyke (Piano/Keys). The night will include all of the music featured on the new album. Tickets: Seated - $35; Standing - $25. For more information, visit lpr.com/lpr_events/matt-doyle-february-29th-2016.
Matt Doyle firmly established himself as one of Broadway's phenomenal young talents when he originated the role of Billy Narcott in the Broadway production of War Horse, but has been rocking the stage since 2007 when Spring Awakening took the world by storm (he first covered Melchior and then in 2008 took over as Hanschen). He went on to play Melchior for a two-year run in Toronto. Doyle, who has also played a recurring role on the hit show Gossip Girl and recorded two albums, also played Elder Price in the Broadway smash The Book of Mormon.
