The Off-Broadway engagement of the Tony and Olivier Award-winning musical, Kinky Boots began performances at Stage 42 on July 26th and will open tonight, August 25th. Kinky Boots features 16 original songs by Cyndi Lauper, a book by Harvey Fierstein, and direction and choreography by Jerry Mitchell.  Check out photos and video below! 

Kinky Boots released a sneak peek into their rehearsal room as they prepare to return to the stage beginning on July 26th at off-Broadway’s Stage 42. The video features a behind the scenes look as the company prepares to put the boots on once again, as well as interviews with select company members about the show’s impact and the journey of bringing the uplifting story back to NYC.

Inspired by some of the theatre's greatest hits and set to pop music, the evening brought Broadway style to classic striptease. Twenty-six of New York City's best dancers came together in Fire Island Pines on June 3, 2017, and raised a record-breaking $56,533 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. On Saturday, May 19, 2012 Broadway Sings for Pride (www.BwayPride.org) in conjunction with the TADA! Youth Theater joined over twenty-five Broadway, Off Broadway, and National Tour performers to remind everyone 'it gets better.' The song, which included TADA!'s Resident Youth Ensemble, was done to promote equality and stop bullying. 'It Gets Better' was written in 2010 by composers, Jay Kuo & Blair Shepard after a string of LGBT suicides across the country. This song will be featured in Broadway Sings for Pride's Second Annual Gay Pride Concert on Monday, June 25, 2012 in Manhattan. For tickets and information, click here.
