On the heels of his sold-out North American tour, which included Brooklyn’s iconic Brooklyn Mirage and a landmark show at the legendary Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, British singer-songwriter, producer and DJ, SG Lewis, returns with “Fever Dreamer,” a dancefloor anthem featuring singer-songwriter Charlotte Day Wilson and Channel Tres.

August Wilson authored Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, Fences, Joe Turner's Come and Gone, The Piano Lesson, Two Trains Running, Seven Guitars, Jitney, King Hedley II, Gem of the Ocean, and Radio Golf. These works explore the heritage and experience of the descendants of Africans brought to North America, decade-by-decade over the course of the twentieth century, and together, they form a compilation entitled The American Century Cycle.

Toronto's Charlotte Day Wilson returns today with her first new music of 2019, the stirring and soulful single “Mountains.” Charlotte wrote and produced the track earlier this year at the inaugural adidas original: Songs From Scratch Creator Camp in Los Angeles, hosted by L.A.-based label Keep Cool & creative agency Yours Truly. The camp united a diverse group of artists, producers, songwriters, and musicians, resulting in Charlotte working on “Mountains” alongside a few significant collaborators - D'Mile provided additional production, Daniel Caesarcontributed background vocals, and the song was co-written with the legendary Babyface. The single is being released independently on Charlotte's own imprint Stone Woman Music. “Mountains” will also appear on Keep Cool & Yours Truly's Light The Way, a compilation commemorating the first annual Creator Camp (coming via Keep Cool/RCA in 2020).

On Friday 8 March, QV Melbourne will host an impressive two-hour line up of fiercely feminine comedy in QV Square, along with music and dance in celebration of International Women's Day. Kicking off at 6:30pm, the QV Melbourne event will be hosted by comedian and broadcaster Geraldine Hickey, with a razor-sharp program of entertainment including comedian Cal Wilson, gender transcendent diva Mama Alto, outrageously colourful dance duet Glitter & Snatch, female led musical comedy duo The Pick Upand an all-female hip hop dance crew.

ANN WILSON of Heart, whose IMMORTAL album (BMG) has garnered radio success and critical acclaim, is heading to NYC next week for two high-profile events: The Woman's Day 16th Annual Red Dress Awards Tuesday, February 12 at the Appel Room at Frederick P. An extraordinary lineup featuring soul and rhythm-and-blues icons Charlie Wilson, Boyz II Men, Kem and Joe will take the stage for the 3rd Annual Mother's Day Good Music Festival. The concert honoring mothers and the music they love is set for Saturday, May 12 at 8 p.m. at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Following a sold-out, critically acclaimed engagement at New York's Public Theater, Sweat, the new play by Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage, directed by Kate Whoriskey transfers to Broadway's Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street).
