The Children's Acting Company of New York Presents BYE BYE BIRDIE, Now thru 5/19

The Children's Acting Company of New York will present its production of 'Bye Bye Birdie,' the Broadway musical hit with music by Charles Strouse, lyrics by lee Adams and book by Michael Stewart, for four performances at the leonard Nimoy Thalia Theater at Symphony Space, ss' Street and Broadway in Manhattan, from May 17 -19,2013. There will be performances today, May 17, at 7:30 PM, Saturday, May 18, at 2:00 PM and 7:30 PM, and Sunday, May 19, at 12 Noon. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased by contacting Symphony Space at 212-864-5400 or at www.symphonyspace.org.

On Friday, June 14 (7:30 pm) and Saturday, June 15 (3 pm and 8:30 pm), Symphony Space presents Leonard Nimoy's acclaimed drama, Vincent, directed by Paul Stein and performed by Jean-Michel Richaud. The solo show takes place in Symphony Space's Leonard Nimoy Thalia; a post-show conversation with Mr. Nimoy follows each performance. Tickets are $30, $25 for members, and $15 for 30 and under (with valid ID), available at www.symphonyspace.org.

Jersey Tap Fest, NJ's sole dance festival featuring world-class tap faculty and extravaganza, celebrates four years August 22-25, 2013 in Bloomfield, NJ. The four-day festival will offer more than 30 tap dance classes and a main stage celebration event TAP 'N TIME. The Garden State tap dance festival also provides the public various opportunities to participate and interact with tap dancing through a jam session, student showcase and faculty meet and greet.

American Opera Projects Premieres BEAUTY INTOLERABLE in June

AOP (American Opera Projects), The Edna St. Vincent Millay Society, ClaverackLanding, and Symphony Space co-present a world premiere performance of Beauty Intolerable, a collection of love songs composed by Sheila Silver based on the poetry of iconoclast and libertine Edna St. Vincent Millay and performed by a trio of operatic chanteuses. The songs are accompanied with poetry recitations by actresses Tyne Daly (June 8) and Tandy Cronyn (June 13). The song cycle will be presented on June 8 at 6 PM at First Presbyterian Church: 4th & Warren Streets, Hudson, NY 12534. A Manhattan premiere follows on June 13 at 7:30 PM at Leonard Nimoy Thalia at Symphony Space. Tickets will be available through the venues' websites. A limited number of tickets to the Symphony Space performance which include VIP seating and a reception with the artists are available for $75 at AOP's website.

DANCING Contestants to Compete for Immunity Next Week

It's Latin Night on 'Dancing with the Stars,' as seven remaining couples take to the ballroom floor and perform to a Latin-inspired hit, MONDAY, APRIL 29 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET). In a new twist and another 'Dancing with the Stars' first, the couple with the highest overall score for the night will be granted immunity from elimination on Tuesday. The couples who do not receive immunity will then compete in a dance-off to earn extra judges' points in an effort to increase their overall score. The show will also feature music by Grammy winner and Spanish language rock artist Juanes, who will perform a medley of his hits, including 'La Camisa Negra' and 'Cumbia Sexy.'
