In recognition of the 20 year anniversary of the genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, actor/writer Jay O. Sanders' play Unexplored Interior, directed by James Glossman, received an unprecedented presentation on Sunday, May 11 at the Museum of Jewish Heritage (www.mjhnyc.org). This first of its kind, technological and creative partnership with Google+, allowed the play to be seen in NYC and at the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center (www.kigaligenocidememorial.org) in Rwanda. This year's rock n' roll themed gala was attended by over 250 Second Stage Alumni who have worked at Second Stage Theatre during the past 35 years, from Brooke Adams and Polly Draper who appeared in the very first season, to cast members from the currently running The Substance of Fire and the upcoming American Hero which will make its New York premiere this summer at Second Stage Uptown. Sebastian La Cause's HUSTLING Wins Best Drama Series at 2014 Indie Series Awards

Sebastian La Cause, the multi-faceted actor, known for his work on Broadway and most recently in the Netflix original Orange Is The New Black, Homeland and the critically acclaimed indie-feature Keep The Lights On was the big winner at this year's Indie Series Awards, which was held in Los Angeles for the first time. La Cause's drama Hustling took home the night's top honor, Best Drama Series. Recently completing its third and final season, Hustling can be found on Youtube at, www.HustlingTheWebSeries.com and was this year's most nominated series with nine nods - including writing, soundtrack and Lead Actor for La Cause. The music of the late composer Dory Previn was celebrated at a gala for the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning Vineyard Theatre last night. Best-known as the writer of such hit songs as 'Theme from Valley of the Dolls,' 'Mary C. Brown and the Hollywood Sign,' 'With My Daddy in the Attic,' 'You're Gonna Hear from Me,' DORY PREVIN was a legendary figure as a pop-folk singer-song-writer in the 60's-70's and 80's. The Gala performance was directed by Rachel Chavkin (NATASHA, PIERRE AND THE GREAT COMET OF 1812), with musical direction by Jon Spurney. BWW Reviews: LUCE, a Compelling, Thought-Provoking Probe into Reality

Lincoln Center is the largest contiguous performing arts center in the United States. Included in the complex are concert, dance, education, commercial and theatre spaces. The newest venue is the Claire Tow Theatre, a two-story, 23,000 square-foot space built on the roof of the Vivian Beaumont Theatre. The space includes the theatre, rehearsal and office space, and a lobby that opens onto an outdoor terrace surrounded by a new green roof with views of the rejuvenated Lincoln Center Plaza.
