Reading's Leigh Barrett is joining forces with Upstage Lung Cancer (ULC), a non-profit organization comprised of lung cancer survivors; dedicated physicians, performing artists, friends and family dedicated to fighting lung cancer, to present a one-night-only benefit concert I Could Have Danced All Night - the Songs of Alan Jay Lerner on Tuesday, November 5, 7:30 pm at The Lyric Stage, 140 Clarendon Street, Boston. A wine and dessert reception and silent auction immediately follow the performance.

Producer Cedric Yau has announced that Gary Littman & Matt Lutz will step into the roles of Passepartout & Detective Fix (respectively) in Around the World in 80 Days, beginning today, September 3rd. They will replace John Gregorio & Stephen Guarino, whose last performance was Sunday, September 1st. Guy Lemonnier heads the cast as the phlegmatic Phileas Fogg, with Shirine Babb & Jimmy Ray Bennett rounding out the ensemble cast. Rachel Klein directs.

The NATIONAL NEW PLAY NETWORK (NNPN), the country's alliance of non-profit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, announces its 41st Rolling World Premiere: John Biguenet's Broomstick will receive four productions through the Network's Continued Life of New Plays Fund in the 2013/14 season. Broomstick will begin its Rolling World Premiere at New Jersey Repertory Company (Long Branch, NJ, September 19 - October 13, 2013), followed by performances at Playwrights Theatre of New Jersey (Madison, NJ, January 9-26, 2014), Southern Rep (New Orleans, LA, June, August and October, 2014) and Montana Repertory Theatre (Missoula, MT, September 10-27, 2014).

The NATIONAL NEW PLAY NETWORK (NNPN), the country's alliance of non-profit theaters that champions the development, production, and continued life of new plays, announces its 40th Rolling World Premiere: Carson Kreitzer's Lasso of Truthwill receive three productions through the Network's Continued Life of New Plays Fund in the 2013/14 season. Lasso of Truth will begin its Rolling World Premiere at Marin Theatre Company (Mill Valley, CA, February 20 - March 16, 2014), followed by performances at Synchronicity Theatre (Atlanta, GA, March 20 - April 13, 2014) and Unicorn Theatre (Kansas City, MO, January 21 - February 8, 2015).
