New Repertory Theatre Stages Two Free MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM Performances Today

New Repertory Theatre proudly announces hosting two free performances of William Shakespeare's A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, today, August 30 at both 10am and 2pm, 2013 in the Charles Mosesian Theater at the Arsenal Center for the Arts, 321 Arsenal Street in Watertown.

The performances are part of Highland Street Foundation's FREE FUN FRIDAYS, offering free admission to a variety of cultural organizations over ten weeks this summer. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, beginning one hour prior to the performance. A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM is recommended for ages 12 and up. The production, directed by Clay Hopper, will be performed by New Rep's CLASSIC REPERTORY COMPANY, which tours 90-minute adaptations of great works of literature to schools, colleges, and the community centers throughout New England. The 2013-2014 CLASSIC REPERTORY COMPANY features eight actors including Lorne Batman, JarEd Brown, David Keohane, Celia Pain, Marc Pierre, Simon Pringle-Wallace, Rebecca Sands, and Julia Schonberg.

"New Repertory Theatre is proud to participate in Free Fun Fridays," says Managing Director Harriet Sheets. "It's a great opportunity to invite families and new audiences to experience live theatre."
