The Auckland Fringe festival kicks off on 25 February with a full programme packed with more than 70 events happening over the 12-day festival. In the mix is something for everyone, with 46 of world premieres across 26 of spaces, from both local and international artists and performers. Audiences can see Shakespeare reimagined, Dungeons & Dragons inspired improv, comedy aplenty, variety line-ups, metal music, four-hour long shows, poetry written and performed live and everything else imaginable.

NAATCO (National Asian American Theatre Company) founder and Artistic Producing Director Mia Katigbak today announced the creation of The NAATCO National Partnership Project (NNPP), a national theater initiative that will ingrain the inclusion of Asian American theatre artists, technicians, administrators, and community members in the American theater.

Two River Theater is now presenting William Shakespeare's romantic comedy 'Twelfth Night' directed by Sara Holdren with original songs composed by the band/theater collective, The Lobbyists. Two River Theater (TRT) has launched its 2019/20 Season with a production that is sure to please. 'Cyrano' by Jason O'Connell and Brenda Withers is adapted from the 1897 play Cyrano de Bergerac written by Edmond Rostand. The TRT show is directed by Meredith McDonough and presented as a co-production with the critically acclaimed Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival based in Garrison, New York.

Entertainment One (eOne) announced today it has acquired the international distribution rights for the highly anticipated 10-part drama series “Between Two Worlds,” from Seven Studios.  The deal was brokered by Noel Hedges, eOne's EVP, Acquisitions, International Distribution.

Two River Theater announces the lineup for its 9th annual Crossing Borders (Cruzando Fronteras) festival of plays and music by Latinx theater artists. The summer festival will take place August 1-4 and will include free readings of new plays, live music and conversations with artists.
