TRU Announces 25th Anniversary Fundraising Campaign

In celebration of their 25th Anniversary, Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU)announces a fundraising campaign: $25 for 25, in honor of 25 years of service to the theater community. The goal is to raise $25,000 by end of year to help support and expand the educational programming TRU offers the theater community, as well as to make possible travel stipends to out-of-state writers who are accepted into the annual TRU Voices Reading Series.

Broadway Global has announced the nominees for the 2017 Producer of the Year. The 2016 winners, Cathy Rigby McCoy & Tom McCoy, the first woman and first couple ever chosen as Producers of the Year (we couldn't honor one, without the other). Monica Piper's acclaimed off-Broadway comedy NOT THAT JEWISH, will play its final performance on Sunday, April 30. NOT THAT JEWISH began performances at New World Stages October 6, 2016, prior to an official opening on October 23, 2016. When NOT THAT JEWISH takes its final curtain call at New World Stages, the production will have played a total of 210 performances (including 17 previews).
